I was on the front lines working for a company that that provided services and engineered solutions/products to manufactures. Some names: Briggs & Stratton, Harley-Davidson, Mercury Marine. Then hundred of smaller companies. NAFTA was bad with manufacturing engineers having to train their replacements in Mexico. The WTO-China hit and job loss and closed factories accelerated. All because Congress had to keep spending and spending so needed new debt buyers.

As one example, my dad was head of patents and trademarks for Philips Canada and their television manufacturing factory was closed as a result of that nefarious agreement. Many people lost their jobs at Philips and other companies.

For Roger Waters it seems only the West is capable of being shits. I think the Russians and Chinese are perfectly capable of the same. And regardless of if Taiwan was once part of China it's not now. Much like Poland isn't part of the Soviet Bloc anymore.
