Roger Waters' interview on CNN exposes their propaganda
Itβs refreshing to hear a voice of reason amidst the darkness of the lies, hypocrisy, rampant propaganda and complete ignorance of the legacy media.
If you havenβt already, I recommend watching this 7:28min interview with Roger Waters by CNN's arrogant and ignorant propagandist, Michael Smerconish.
I became aware of this interview via @zei_squirrel on Twitter who posted the following Twitter thread:
There are some very good comments on the YouTube video including the following:

Major respect to Roger for standing firm and unapologetically speaking the truth despite the overwhelming amount of vitriolic propaganda being pushed regarding current events, and about US history in general, to be honest. His analysis is 100% on point and I don't envy his position of having to endure an interview with a smug, dismissive, liberal mouthpiece just dripping with American exceptionalism and American innocence. But he does so with much more grace and professionalism than I could ever muster.
And credit where credit is due: thank you to CNN for actually allowing this to air. It is certainly at odds with the usual narrative allowed by any corporate media outlet; it's quite refreshing. These are the voices that need to be heard.

I think when Roger says "please don't call me that", he brings clarity to the whole conversation! He's always been completely unfiltered in expressing his views on human rights, and doesn't see things through any nationalist lens. Do I agree with every view that Roger Waters holds? Of course not! I have my own mind and my own thoughts. When you agree with someone on every single issue, you're not thinking - you're obeying. And before you know it, there's a whole group of you wearing matching hats...

04:56 "We're liberators! What about our role as saviors of the world!" Roger Waters "You have no role as liberators"
Mr Waters got it straight when he pointed out that Russia were already pushing the Nazis back to Germany before the U.S. finally landed on D-Day. Also, the U.S. stayed out until attacked at Pearl Harbor. Even then, the U.S. didn't declare war on Germany until after Germany declared war on the U.S.
Funny how our Media conveniently forgets the course of such important events.
Roger is also correct when he implies that we played a key role in started the war. For instance, U.S. Senator John McCain and CIA Director John Brennan were both in Kiev promising support to the opposition if they rose up to throw down Ukraine's government. After that, Victoria Nuland's phone call revealed that the U.S. hand picked Ukraine's new leaders. So regime change on Russia's border in a country including ethnic Russians, great idea. That would be like Russia regime changing Canada.
I find it incredibly refreshing to hear a voice of reason amidst the darkness of the lies, hypocrisy, rampant propaganda and complete ignorance of the legacy media.
Kudos to Roger Waters, Eric Clapton, Van Morrison and others for refusing to confirm and submit to the popular narrative. Precious few in the music business - it is after all a subset of society.
Roger Waters is never a boring interview. China destroyed USA economy with the invitation of Congress.
