Unfortunately, too many people I know will be back on the Liberal band wagon now that Trudeau is gone. Sad, because things are only going to get worse in that case. Not that I see a great alternative…. Except maybe an overhaul of the political/economic system. Thanks, Azra!

I highly recommend James Corbett's recent chat with Dr. Jacob Nordangård, which largely focuses on Carney's (and Trump's) role in the "Grand Plan of the wise" for the future of the (Western) world... https://drjacobnordangard.substack.com/p/externalization-of-the-money-masters

This is a fine example of foreign disinformation.

Largely debunked but folks fall for false narratives to keep them engaged in far right extremism. Saw it in the US and now it’s here. AI interference but PP wouldn’t “know”. Country before party in this election, Carney is the mature, responsible choice. I wish there was an alternative to PP but there isn’t.

There's no way I would ever share a Daily Express article approvingly. They are cheerleaders for Reform and the far right, continuing a very long history of racist and fascist headlines and writers.

True, the one you have chosen reflects a shared attitude between the right and left, which is a healthy distrust of bankers and elites who control our world. But surely you can find better sources and better written pieces.

For someone from his background and roles, Mark Carney has often presented surprisingly progressive attitudes, such as praising the Occupy Wall Street movement, and criticizing the role of the US dollar as the global currency. Days before replacing Trudeau, he sharply differentiated his views from Trudeau's Zionist policy.

His BBC Reith lectures criticized market values replacing moral and human ones.

None of that makes him a revolutionary hero, of course, but it does suggest someone undeserving of an all-out attack by a right-wing rag, whose main underlying criticism appears to be that a foreigner was governor of the Bank of England.

I do not read the Express. The piece I shared by Harvey Jones showed up in my search results and happened to include some of the information I was looking for with regard to Carney, so I shared it.

Thank you. Although I am not interested in listening to Carney lecture about anything, perhaps someone else will.

This is interesting: "The National Post obtained a copy of Carney’s 1995 thesis for his doctorate in economics from Oxford University titled “The Dynamic Advantage of Competition.” It shows 10 instances of apparent plagiarism, according to the judgment of three university academics who reviewed the material." https://nationalpost.com/news/mark-carney-plagiarism-accusations

I wouldn't expect you to listen! The link showed a summary of his lecture themes - I like to evidence factual statements that I make.

I didn't imagine that you read the Express regularly.
