If this is so (Vitamin A is bad), then why did autoimmune diseases skyrocket after most people stopped eating liver?

When I was a kid in the mid 70s to early 80s, raw ground beef on rye and liver spread on crackers were very popular. As the 80s moved on TPTB be recommend not eating these.

I live in the UK but was raised in Canada and don't recall this at all. What country did you grow up in? Were the recommendations for health reasons or was this the start of the implementation of that other nefarious agenda?

I grew up in SE Wisconsin USA. There was wild panic over germs and the Sun.

Thank you Dan. I recall the warnings about the sun's harmful rays in about that time period, but not about eating liver.

I do therapeutic sun exposure (see The Vitamin D Solution book ~2007). Most of the those hit badly by SC2 had low D.
