Since his own statement after the arrest I haven't seen anything public from him. I hope he is well.

Thank you for your comment Arturo. Fear not, Richard has returned to tweeting. Or is it x'ing now which rather gives me the creeps.

Richard posted this 3 hours ago:

"Another massacre.

40 killed, 60 wounded and rising.

How can we watch our cousins being exterminated like this and stay sane? To say nothing of what they're going through.

Digging with their bare hands to try and save their relatives after Israel dropped 2000lb bombs on tents in the "safe zone"."

He also tweeted the following 14mins ago in response to someone:

"What does that mean? Move the Palestinians out the way, like inconvenient objects, so you can take their land? How generous of you. A true humanitarian.

Palestinians will stay in Palestine. And for the record, Arab countries already took in many Palestinians during the Nakba when Israel began its genocide in 1948. Syria is the only country that gives Palestinians equal rights and responsibilities. Syria's position is pro-Palestine to the max, so it should come as no surprise why Israel and the West want to get rid of Al Assad and enact regime change.

"The only difference is that Palestinians are not afforded Syrian citizenship— this is on purpose so that Palestinian refugees, who were ethnically cleansed by Israel and had their land stolen, retain their right to return under intl law. And return they shall." https://x.com/richimedhurst/status/1833389600074498339

Arresting journalists is a terrible thing.

I will sat there are very few who report the whole truth as compared to what they are indoctrinated with in lefty universities.

I'd have more sympathy if the narrative of "was in Gaza" was phrased as Israel's war in Hamas.
