Thank you Naila for bringing this excerpt to my attention. I am grateful to Regis Tremblay for isolating Doug Valentine’s comments from his video discussion regarding the CIA’s 70 years of operation in Ukraine.
Regis’s text introduction to the video clip states:
This is one segment from Part 2 of the explosive exposé of the CIA that Doug Valentine describes as a criminal crime syndicate serving the American capitalist class.
This 9:19[min] segment explains the role of the CIA in Ukraine since the end of WWII where it planted sleeper cells and was the cutting edge vanguard of its efforts to take down Russia:
Maidan 2014, Fascist paramilitary militias, stealing natural resources, cultivating businessmen and politicians, and terrorizing pro-Russian elements. Because of its relevance and importance today I have made this a stand alone video.
– Regis Tremblay
I have edited the transcript for the video, removing “and, ands” and such, as follows:
After World War II, communism became the bugaboo and the Soviet Union became the enemy. One of the things the CIA did right after World War II was hire a lot of Nazis. Guys who’d been Nazis were now recycled and brought into the CIA.
The Nazi rocket scientist, [Verner] von Braun went to work for the United States developing intercontinental ballistic missiles. So the Nazi past was forgiven and Nazis went to work for the United States, including a guy named Reinhard Gehlen, who had been the Nazi military intelligence officer in charge of operations against the Soviets in Eastern Europe. This guy Gehlen became the head of the CIA’s main intelligence operations in East Berlin and areas like the Ukraine where the Nazis had intelligence agents during World War II. This guy Reinhard Gehlen, on behalf of his new CIA masters, just activated all the agent nets that he had during World War II.
The same thing was going on in Ukraine. Although the Ukraine had very much large swathes of its population were fascists and were actively involved in the war against the Soviets, and were enemies of the United States in World War II, after World War two they became assets of the CIA.
So the CIA has been developing fascist assets in the Ukraine for 70 years and every year since 1948 when the CIA was went into operation and has a had a station in the Ukraine with a CIA officer who's running operations. Those operations have all been directed against first the Soviet Union and after the collapse of the Soviet Union, against Russia.
There's a lot of momentum that has built up over 75 years. Vast agent nets have been put in place. Sleeper agents have been in place for decades and they're all working against Russia which is why nowadays it’s so hard for the mainstream media and the government to shift and even consider for a moment having good relations with Russia.
NATO – Its whole mandate, the whole reason for its existence has been to threaten and rollback Russia and eventually sabotage and subvert it and put it out of business. The CIA's operations in the Ukraine are the cutting edge vanguard of this effort.
So if you look at recent events in the Ukraine you have to see them in that context – how for decades the CIA has been trying to recruit Ukrainian politicians, Ukrainian businessmen who are sympathetic and compatible with Western American ideas and values and interests of being, of fighting against the Russians and recruiting them, and putting them in place. Setting them up with bank accounts. Giving them paramilitary training. Everything the CIA does across the board, the Ukraine has been the vanguard of this operation against Russia.
how the CIA would go around and work with – after the coup that threw out a pro-Russian government and installed a pro-American – an anti-Russian government;
how the CIA already had security services and military people in place who were able to create private militias that would then work against individuals in the Ukraine who were pro-Russian;
how they were just treating it like South Vietnam or any other country that the United States occupies.
That is the situation in the Ukraine. The United States occupies Ukraine.
Its government is an occupation government that's supported and funded and directed by the United States.
The businessmen and the military people and the politicians that support the Americans benefit, and those who don't are put on hit lists and they're targeted.
That's basically the history and the summary of what's going on in the Ukraine and that the CIA through its agent operations which have been in place for 70 years is at the vanguard of that operation.
Q: So is the intent and purpose of the CIA and American involvement in Ukraine to topple Russia? To balkanise Russia?
Doug Valentine: Oh absolutely, but also to steal Ukraine's, to take all the natural resources that are available there. The profits that can be had. I mean, it’s capitalism. It’s you know nationalism, American nationalists, businessmen, nationalists.
I mean as soon as the CIA arranged that coup and installed a pro-American government, Joe Biden's son became the head of one of the biggest oil companies [Burisma] I think it was in the Ukraine. I mean American businessmen just swooped down like vultures to take over any business that they could, like Mafia Dons and mafia gangsters, that they could steal everything from. And that's exactly what they're doing, especially in Eastern Ukraine where a lot of the natural resource industries are based. That's why it’s so contentious there.
The CIA through its assets in private industry is trying to bring all those people who are considered compatible into the American fold.
You don't see it at its dirty level, the level of blackmailing people. The level of extorting people. The level of the CIA using its underworld context to squeeze these people and to force them out of business and to make life miserable for them so that they give up their their associations with Russians and Russian businessmen.
That's what's going on at the very basic level.
Militias are being formed to terrorise anybody who's supporting Russia, like in Donbass and places like that.
The details again, which you would have to spend years studying to understand, I'll suggest you just read the books to see how the CIA has relationships with the security services in Ukraine, and as soon as the coup was launched it took over control of those security services and it started drawing up the hit lists, targeting people that it could go after. The reason it's targeting, the people that it targets most highly are the people that are sitting on natural resources that American businessmen want. It's not going after plumbers and carpenters, it's going after major businessmen. And that's what the CIA does. It paves the way for American business interests by using illegal methods and by using illegal methods to install politicians in the Ukraine that will follow the American line.
Everything that you don't know about that is going on and that you're not told about by the media, which I should add is well aware of what's going on but just doesn't tell you because it's good for their business too.
If you haven’t already, I highly recommend watching the complete interview with Doug Valentine in which he shares his amazing story about how he gained access to top officials in the CIA and CIA operatives who revealed their secrets and explained the inner workings of the organisation.

The following article provides more background information about WWII German Nazi spy and CIA operative, Reinhard Gehlen.
An expert spymaster, Reinhard Gehlen surrendered to the Allies at the end of World War II in order to work with the CIA before founding Germany’s modern intelligence service with hundreds of former Nazis like him.
At midnight on May 8, 1945, Nazi rule came to an end in Germany. The date, now called Stunde Null or “Zero Hour,” remains one of the most significant moments in modern German history.
The crushing defeat of Nazi Germany by the Allies took many Germans by surprise. But others in the country had weighed the possibility of their demise and made their own preparations to ensure that no matter the victor, Nazi rule could again rise from the ashes of their failed nation.
Reinhard Gehlen was one such individual.
An espionage expert and a political opportunist, Gehlen made plans to ensure that the Third Reich would live on after Stunde Null and he created a network of ex-Nazi spies that would go on to form the modern German intelligence community — and he did so in part by scamming the CIA.
Reinhard Gehlen Was An Invaluable Nazi Spy
Reinhard Gehlen was born into a family of loyal Prussian militarists on March 3, 1902. Most men in his family had been career army officers for Germany, and Gehlen followed a similar path. As soon as he passed his exams, he was commissioned into the Reichswehr, or Reich Defense, under the Weimar Republic leading up to the rise of Hitler.
Gehlen was reportedly quiet among his fellow soldiers, but nevertheless, he proved himself with his exceptionally sharp mind for facts, figures, and organization. In 1935, he was promoted to captain and assigned to the German General Staff. Here, he developed his skills for fieldcraft and espionage.
In 1942, Major Reinhard Gehlen was promoted to commander of the Fremde Heere Ost (FHO), or Foreign Armies East, which was a military intelligence organization dedicated to penetrating Russian lines as the Third Reich dominated Europe.
A fervent anti-Communist, Gehlen threw himself into his work and produced key reports which led to Germany’s early successes in pushing the Soviet Union out of its territory.
But even as early as 1942, when Hitler was rapidly becoming a dictator of Europe, Gehlen began to mull the possibility of his country’s defeat. As the tide of World War II shifted and the Allies gradually beat back the Nazis, Gehlen drew up reports that revealed the failures of the German military. These matter-of-fact analyses infuriated Adolf Hitler, who called Gehlen’s findings “defeatist.”
In April 1945, Hitler’s empire crumbled around him and he fired Gehlen, who at the time was his most capable spy. Gehlen, now a major general, shrugged off the dismissal and continued his work copying every scrap of intelligence about the Russians he could find.
According to his 1972 memoir, The Service, mere days before the Allies moved into Germany, Gehlen and his devoted officers buried 52 steel drums packed with microfilm that contained the results of six years worth of espionage work.
He then ordered his men to wait for his signal and quietly surrendered himself to United States troops.
Cooperating With And Exploiting The CIA Through The Gehlen Org
After interviewing with high-ranking American officers, Reinhard Gehlen brokered a deal with them that protected him from being prosecuted for war crimes in exchange for collecting intelligence on the Soviets for the U.S.
By the end of 1946, the U.S. Army provided Gehlen with funding to build the so-called Gehlen Organization, or “Org,” which Gehlen populated with 350 ex-Nazi officers, some of who[m] were considered war criminals.
Gehlen and his cronies were then allowed to pursue their own agenda on both sides of the West German border — and all under the authority of U.S. Army intelligence. In 1949, the CIA officially absorbed Gehlen’s group and gave them $5 million a year for their own intelligence projects.
Although The Org had value to the American intelligence community, the U.S. Army was nonetheless desperate to be rid of it. Not only was The Org quickly riddled with Soviet moles shortly after its inception, but American officers were wary of Wehrmacht and SS veterans.
Indeed, at least five associates of Adolf Eichmann, the “Architect of the Holocaust” who designed the systematic genocide of European Jews, worked for the CIA. The CIA allegedly also approached 23 other Nazis for recruitment, and at least 100 officers within the Gehlen Org were former SD or Gestapo officers.
The Army struggled to control the group as Gehlen’s men continued to pursue their own agendas, like helping other Nazi war criminals flee Europe via an underground escape network that included transit camps and fake ports supplied by the CIA. The CIA-funded side project helped over 5,000 Nazis flee Europe to South and Central America.
Although the CIA distrusted Gehlen, their temptation to strike a blow at Moscow grew, and Gehlen assured American intelligence officers that he could succeed where they had failed. “Given how hard it was for us,” one CIA operative noted, “it seemed idiotic not to try it.”
For eight years, Gehlen gathered some reliable intelligence from wartime informants in Eastern Europe. He also had some success with infiltrating East Germany and collecting valuable information about the Soviet’s military units for the Americans.
But overall, the Gehlen Org often had to resort to fantasy to keep the CIA satisfied with their work. They concocted wild stories based on “confessions” given by POWs returning from the Soviet Union, and told stories about advanced military technology and a nuclear program far ahead of the West’s.
Faced with this phantom of a massively powerful Soviet Union, American intelligence agents felt they had no choice but to stick with their German spies, despite whatever reservations they may have had about the men who populated its ranks.
In 1956, the Gehlen Organization was legitimized as the new Bundesnachrichtendienst, or “Federal Intelligence Service,” which was and remains Germany’s equivalent of the CIA. But the triumph would not last.
By 1968, numerous Soviet moles were exposed within the group and many of them had purportedly worked with Gehlen for decades. The moles even included Heinz Felfe, Gehlen’s longtime deputy. The shocking revelation resulted in Gehlen’s dismissal.
While other ex-Nazis were jailed and tried for their crimes, Reinhard Gehlen succeeded in avoiding capture or prosecution. Although well-known in intelligence circles, Gehlen escaped notice, and died quietly in 1979.
Up until the end of his life, Gehlen enjoyed the protection of German and American leaders. They were willing to overlook his Nazi past in order to use his skills. As the German newspaper, Der Spiegel, noted decades after Gehlen’s death: “If there was ignorance on the matter, it was only because no one wanted to know.”

I would be remiss to not include some information about the CIA, MI6 et al’s Operation/Project Paperclip which was the common name for the project which brought some of the highest ranking German Nazis to work within America, the UK, Soviet Union and elsewhere, including Argentina at the end of WWII.
The systematic and secret expatriation to the US, the USSR and Great Britain of many Nazi scientists and experts in many diverse fields of study was known as Operation Paperclip. Operation Paperclip, in fact, has been de-classified for many years but has never managed to make its way into mainstream history or history textbooks in any way. Strange – or not? Please read on.
At the end of WWII in 1945, victorious British, Russian and American intelligence teams began searching throughout occupied Germany for military and scientific bounty. They were looking for items such as new rocket and aircraft designs, medicines and electronics. But they were also hunting down the most precious items of all, the scientists whose work had contributed heavily to the German war machine, in other words, the engineers, intelligentsia and intelligence-officers of the Nazi regime.
The US and British military sought-out and brought to the UK and America many Nazi technicians in secret and in order to further the technical abilities of the military-industrial complex in its never-ending quests for the maximisation of profits. The original intent had been merely to debrief them and send them back to Germany, but when the extent of the scientists’ knowledge and expertise was realised, it was decided it would be a waste to send them home. Following the discovery of Nazi flying discs and particle/laser beam weaponry in German military bases, the US War Department decided that the newly-formed CIA must gain control of both the technology and the Nazi engineers that had developed it.
There was only one problem regarding this scheme – it was highly illegal. US law explicitly prohibited Nazi officials from immigrating to America and around 75% of the scientists in question had been committed, ardent Nazis.
Convinced that German scientists could help America’s post-war efforts, President Truman agreed in September 1946 to authorize Project Paperclip. However, Truman expressly excluded anyone found ‘to have been a member of the Nazi party and more than a nominal participant in its activities, or an active supporter of Nazism or militarism.’ The War Department’s Joint Intelligence Objectives Agency (JIOA) was instructed to conduct background investigations of those scientists under consideration for the project. In February 1947, JIOA Director Bosquet Wev duly submitted the first set of scientists’ dossiers to the State and Justice Departments for review.
The Dossiers were indeed damning. Samuel Klaus, the State Department’s representative on the JIOA board, claimed that all the scientists in this first batch were ‘ardent Nazis’ and thus their visa requests were therefore denied. However, Wev was furious. He wrote a memo warning that ‘the best interests of the United States have been subjugated to the efforts expended in beating a dead Nazi horse’. He also declared that the return of these scientists to Germany, where they could be exploited by America’s enemies, presented a ‘far greater security threat to this country than any former Nazi affiliations which they may have had or even any Nazi sympathies that they may still have’.
When the JIOA formed to investigate the backgrounds and collate dossiers on the Nazis, the Nazi Intelligence leader Reinhard Gehlen met with the CIA director Allen Dulles. Dulles and Gehlen become friends almost immediately. Gehlen was a master spy for the Nazis and had infiltrated Russia with his vast Nazi Intelligence network and Dulles promised Gehlen that his Intelligence unit was safe in the CIA. Subsequently, Wev decided to sidestep the problem. Dulles had the scientists’ dossiers re-written to eliminate incriminating evidence and as promised, he delivered the Nazi Intelligence unit to the CIA, which later opened many umbrella projects stemming from Nazi research including such insidious secret programmes as MK Ultra (Mind Kontrolle) still in use as individual and mass mind control schemes. [Bold mine.]
Military Intelligence cleansed the files of all Nazi references and so by 1955, more than 760 German scientists had been granted US citizenship and given prominent positions in the American scientific community. Many of these individuals had been long-time members of the Nazi party and the Gestapo, had conducted experiments on humans at concentration camps, had condoned and used slave labour and had taken part in other war crimes.
In a 1985 expose in the ‘Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists’, Linda Hunt wrote that she had examined more than 130 reports on Project Paperclip subjects and every one ‘had been changed to eliminate the security threat classification’. President Truman, who had explicitly ordered no committed Nazis to be admitted under Project Paperclip, was supposedly never aware that his directive had been violated, but personally, I am not inclined to believe that particular fantasy despite State Department archives and the memoirs of officials from that era that would confirm this ‘fact’.
One example of how these dossiers were changed is in the case of Wernher von Braun, the Nazi rocket scientist, the technical director of the Peenemunde research facility, responsible for the V1 and V2 ‘vengeance’ weapons rained on London and South East England during the latter months of the war. A report on von Braun dated 18th September 1947 stated, ‘Subject is regarded as a potential security threat by the Military Governor’. And then subsequently, the following February, a new security evaluation of Von Braun read, ‘No derogatory information is available on the subject… It is the opinion of the Military Governor that he may not constitute a security threat to the United States’. Von Braun worked on guided missiles for the US Army and was later director of NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Centre. He became a celebrity in the 1950s and early 1960s as one of Walt Disney’s experts on the ‘World of Tomorrow’ TV show. In 1970, he became NASA’s associate administrator.
Here below is a small sample of the 700 or so, shady characters who were allowed to immigrate to the US via Project Paperclip.
Arthur Rudolph
During the war, Rudolph was operations director of the Mittelwerk factory at the Dora-Nordhausen concentration camp, where 20,000 workers died from beatings, hangings and starvation. Rudolph had been a member of the Nazi party since 1931; a 1945 military file on him said simply: ‘100% Nazi, dangerous type, security threat..!! Suggest internment.’ But the JIOA’s final dossier on him said there was ‘nothing in his records indicating that he was a war criminal or an ardent Nazi or otherwise objectionable.’ Rudolph became a US citizen and later designed the Saturn 5 rocket used in the Apollo moon landings. In 1984, when his war record was finally investigated, he fled to West Germany.
Kurt Blome
A high-ranking Nazi scientist, Blome told US military interrogators in 1945 that he had been ordered in 1943 to experiment with plague vaccines on concentration camp prisoners. He was tried at Nuremberg in 1947 on charges of practicing euthanasia on sick prisoners and conducting illegal and immoral experiments on humans. Although acquitted, his earlier admissions were well known and it was generally accepted that he had indeed participated in the gruesome experiments. Two months after his Nuremberg acquittal, Blome was interviewed at Camp David, Maryland, about biological warfare. In 1951, he was hired by the US Army Chemical Corps to work on chemical warfare. His file of course neglected to mention the Nuremberg trials.
Major-General Walter Schreiber
The US military tribunal at Nuremberg heard evidence that ‘Schreiber had assigned doctors to experiment on concentration camp prisoners and had made funds available for such experimentation.’ The assistant prosecutor said the evidence would have convicted Schreiber if the Soviets, who held him from 1945 to 1948, had made him available for trial. Again, Schreiber’s ‘Paperclip’ file made no mention of this evidence and so the project found work for him at the Air Force School of Medicine at Randolph Field in Texas. When columnist Drew Pearson publicised the Nuremberg evidence in 1952, the negative publicity led the JIOA to arrange ‘a visa and a job for Schreiber in Argentina, where his daughter was living.’ On May 22, 1952, he was flown to Buenos Aires.
Hermann Becker-Freysing and Siegfried Ruff
These two, along with Blome, were among the 23 defendants in the Nuremberg War Trials ‘Medical Case’. Becker-Freysing was convicted and sentenced to 20 years in prison for conducting experiments on Dachau inmates, such as starving them, then force-feeding them sea water that had been chemically altered to make it drinkable. Ruff was acquitted (in a close decision) on charges that he had killed as many as 80 Dachau inmates in a low-pressure chamber designed to simulate altitudes in excess of 60,000 feet. Before their trial, Becker-Freysing and Ruff were paid by the Army Air Force to write reports about their grotesque experiments.
Klaus Barbie
Known as the Nazi butcher of Lyons, France during World War II, Barbie was part of the SS which was responsible for the death of thousands of French people under the German occupation.
Licio Gelli
Head of a 2400 member secret Masonic Lodge, P2, (Propaganda due) a neo-fascist organisation in Italy that exists only for the Elite, Gelli had high connections in the Vatican even though he was not a Catholic. P2’s membership is totally secret and not even available to its Mother Lodge in England. Gelli was responsible for providing Argentina with the Exocet missile. He was a double agent for the CIA and the KGB and assisted many former Nazi high officials in their escape from Europe to Central America. He also had close ties with the Italian Mafia. Gelli was a close associate of Benito Mussolini and was also closely affiliated with Roberto Calvi, head of the scandal-ridden Vatican Bank. Calvi was ritually murdered and his body was discovered hanging under Blackfriars Bridge in London, weighted down with bricks.
Gelli and his P2 lodge had staggering connections to banking, intelligence and diplomatic services. The CIA poured hundreds of millions of dollars into Italy in the form of secret subsidies for political parties, trades unions and communications all fronted by Gelli. Licio Gelli was an ardent Nazi and a perfect asset of the CIA. As part of Reinhard Gehlen’s intelligence team he had excellent contacts and was also the go-between for the CIA and the Vatican through the P2 Lodge.
In this video, Annie Jacobson provides an overview of the information she compiled and answers questions from the audience during a book launch event which was recorded February 26, 2014 at the Politics & Prose bookstore in Washington, D.C.
It wasn't just he U.S. which recruited evil German Nazis. The UK, Soviet Union and Argentina amongst other countries also harboured some of the evils ones. Please see the Operation Paperclip information which I have included above.
Wow. I have no doubts, but it's still chilling to hear details. Thanks.
It's just sooooo typical that we absorbed the most evil guys into the CI fuckin A...

Yeah, I know, but it seems that the US is THE worst.
