Good post. So important to see what is all connected. Fascism always does a great job with middle management tasks like keeping lists. While they are great at paperwork they’re hopeless in the real give and take reality of life. They are death dealers. Playing a dead man’s hand. They live like the monster under the bed in our midst always. But like vampires they cannot withstand the light of day. Educate our children to understand this from early childhood. Being a righteously skeptical citizen is a premier duty.
I tease my seven year old football-strategizing, Civilization game playing grandson: “you mean to tell me the sun is a giant ball of fire?” He cocks an eyebrow and protests: “you already knew that!” Little by little, teach those children well.
