I have been watching this noose tightening around our necks for more than thirty years, and no doubt it has been happening a lot longer than this. I’m the crazy one in my family because I’m always watching what’s happening politically and sounding the alarm.
People are just too comfortable in their lives and don’t want to believe in a global conspiracy, and even the overt machinations we are seeing now doesn’t seem to penetrate.
I don’t know how to make a difference anymore. Voting has never made any difference- everyone is bought and those that aren’t are in the same boat as me. It doesn’t matter how rational and clear they are, they are labeled as conspiracy theorists and kooks.
All I feel I can do is hunker down and ride out the storm and do my best to keep my soul intact. I try not to give into fear and I look for all the positives I can find but it’s hard to witness humanity putting the shackles on and willingly walk into slavery.
