President Zelensky: "We are returning to our country an honest history without ideological impurities. It is on May 8 that most nations of the world remember the greatness of the victory over Nazism. It is on May 8 that the world honors the memory of all those whose lives were taken by that war. It was on May 8 that the Act of Unconditional Surrender of the Wehrmacht came into force. Today, I have submitted a bill to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine that proposes to establish May 8 as the Day of Remembrance and Victory over Nazism in World War II of 1939-1945. We will never forget the contribution of the Ukrainian people to the victory over Nazism. And we will not allow anyone to lie that the victory in that war could have happened without the participation of any country or people. Just as we destroyed evil together then, we are destroying similar evil together now. Unfortunately, evil has returned. Although the aggressor is different now, it has the same goal: enslavement or destruction. And just as then we relied on the common strength of free peoples, so now we are fighting against evil together with the free world, together with free Europe. And we will win! There will be a day of our victory - the Day of Victory of Ukraine. It will be! Many years ago, the tradition of celebrating Europe Day on May 9 was established on our continent to mark the peace and unity achieved. Today, unity on our continent brings us closer to celebrating the first day of our peace. And it is only right that we celebrate Europe Day together with the entire free Europe. Today I have signed a decree to that effect, and every year from tomorrow, on May 9, we will honor our historical unity - the unity of all Europeans who destroyed Nazism and will defeat racism. The unity that brings peace closer. Eternal memory to all those who died in World War II! Glory to each and every one who fought against Nazism and won! Glory to all our heroes of different times, to whom we equally owe our lives!"

The first message from Zakhar Prilepin from the hospital: Hello to all the family. My dear person, who worked as my guardian angel for 8 years, died. Sasha "Zloy” Shubin. Fearless soldier, friend and brother. They just gave me a phone. There is some confusion in the media. Sasha was on the right in a passenger seat. I was driving. The explosion occurred under his wheel. I lost consciousness for about three minutes, woke up and crawled to the broken windshield. The villagers ran up and helped me get out. Both of my legs are broken (one fracture is open) and there is something else. "
“http://Lenta.ru” writes that I was not aware of what was happening. I didn't see them there. In fact, I asked to bring my phone from the car, and immediately gave all the orders, because everything was clear, as soon as I came to senses. Then a neighbor gave me painkillers. Thanks to Gleb Sergeevich Nikitin for immediately sending a helicopter. It's 3 hours from there to the city and I'm not very sure that I would have made it in my right mind. The helicopter flew in 16 minutes. Already here [hospital] I was informed that there were two mines. But this guy got scared and immediately ran away after the explosion of the first one. If he blew up the second one, everyone would be have died. He was caught.
I actually dropped my daughter off 5 minutes before the explosion.
Shariy confused everything in his video. He shows photos of houses not from my village. It was possible to bury at least ten mines in this place at night. There are no residential windows.
Thanks to everyone who prayed, because it was still impossible to survive such an explosion. Thanks to Prigozhin, Medvedev, Zakharova, Simonyan, Mironov, Boyakov, all the soldiers and officers of “Oplot”, the brothers of the military commissars for immediate responding. These printouts were brought to me, I have not seen others yet.

Thanks to Sanya, for these 8 years he saved my life several times. I don't know any words to tell you, San’ now.
